Jade Goody's widower, Jack Tweed, has demanded answers regarding the disappearance of the late TV star's £200,000 ring and properties she had purchased for her sons.

Tweed, who wed Jade just weeks before she succumbed to cancer in March 2009, expressed his sadness over the apparent vanishing of the 27 year old's substantial fortune since her passing. Jade continued to work throughout her treatment for cervical cancer, reportedly amassing a trust fund worth £3 million for her sons, Bobby and Freddy Brazier.

However, it has been suggested that the boys, who were five and four years old at the time, did not receive the full benefits. Jack, who began dating Jade in 2006, stated: "I don't know what's happened to it at all. There was a load of jewellery as well - someone had that - there was quite a lot of money. One of the rings was about 200 grand or something. 

"It's sad. I always got told she had a few houses, and a couple of them were for Bobby and Freddy when they turned 18 - and I don't know where any of it went."

Jack alleges that Prince Azim of Brunei gifted Jade the £200,000 ring. However, he told the Daily Mail that he didn't involve himself with Jade's finances prior to her death, confirming that she left the matter to trustees, reports the Mirror.

There is no suggestion of any misconduct concerning Jade's finances.

"At the time I didn't want to get involved in any of that... Number one, I didn't want to believe that Jade was actually going to pass away. I didn't believe it - I always thought she'd just get through it some time - so I didn't want to even talk about that," Jack continued.

"And it it wasn't really me, it was Jade's money wasn't it, so it was nothing to do with me... I don't know what's happened to it at all."

Two years following Jade's death, it emerged her £3million fortune had been severely depleted by a staggering £1.8million tax demand - reportedly stemming from four years of outstanding income tax payments.

Her sons' father Jeff Brazier subsequently claimed there were additional tax complications linked to her beauty salon in Essex.

Questions surrounding Jade's financial affairs have resurfaced recently as Freddy, who celebrates his 21st birthday this month, prepares to welcome his first child at such a young age.

Reflecting on this development, Jack remarked: "I'm pleased for him... I'm hoping - along with everyone else - that it might do him the world of good. It makes you grow up.."

Freddy recently revealed his struggle with addiction during his teenage years.

He claimed his grandmother Jackiey Budden - Jade's mother - was responsible for getting him "hooked" on drugs at just 12 years old. However, Jackiey recently refuted these allegations, asserting that Freddy's drug use had "nothing to do with her".

The 68 year old woman stated: "All I've ever tried to do is look out for him and give him somewhere safe to be whenever he wants to – and this has really upset me that he would do this."
