Shoppers have said there's a designer perfume that they "always get compliments" on, and now it's reduced by £21. The HUGO Deep Red for Her Eau de Parfum (50ml) is currently £33, reduced from £54 at Boots. 

In a review, a shopper said: "I have used this scent for years and always get complimented on how lovely I smell."

The fragrance is described as a blend of warm and sweet scents, with key notes including clementine, blood orange, and blackcurrant. There are also floral hints, including freesia and ginger flower. 

Some shoppers have said this blend of fragrances makes them feel "luxurious." One review said, "Hugo Deep Red is luxuriously warm and sweet—it's seduction in a bottle! It is one of my all-time favourites and always makes me feel glamorous."

The Daily Record reports that the product is further described on the Boots website as a perfume for those who "feel free to express their passion and sensuality."

Some shoppers have also complimented the product's red bottle, which would look beautiful on a dressing table or given as a gift.  One review said: "Well-designed bottle of lovely-smelling perfume. The designer's name alone makes this perfume a really great perfume to own."

The HUGO Deep Red for Her Eau de Parfum has a 4.7 out of 5 star rating from over 100 reviews on Boots. Another customer added: "Deep Red is one of my long-time favourites. It's subtle, but you are aware you are wearing it. It's not harsh and overpowering."

Of course, not every perfume will suit everyone. For instance, one buyer wrote: "Great scent; I love it, but the scent wears off too quickly."

Alternatively, shoppers can buy the Lancome La Vie Est Belle Eau de Parfum (30ml) for £60 from Argos, which is a blend of floral and patchouli notes.

Another choice is the Versace Woman Eau de Parfum Sp (50ml), which costs £25 from Superdrug. It is derived from blackcurrants and contains raspberry, plum, roses, and cassis. The product description suggests this fragrance is "perfect for wearing to a night at the opera, a premiere, or even just for that romantic night in."
