The Summer I Turned Pretty's final season teased in trailer

WARNING: This article contains major spoilers from The Summer I Turned Pretty

The third season of The Summer I Turned Pretty (TSITP) is nearing its climax on Amazon Prime Video, following a drama-packed episode last week that left viewers wondering about the fate of the show and the contents of Susannah's (Rachel Blanchard) letter, reports the Mirror.

In the latest episode, Belly (portrayed by Lola Tung) and Jeremiah (Gavin Casalegno) called off their wedding after Conrad (Christopher Briney) confessed his lingering love for his former flame.

Belly was unable to convince Jeremiah that her feelings for Conrad were a thing of the past, confessing that he would always hold a piece of her heart.

As her wedding plans crumbled, Laurel (Jackie Chung) organised for her daughter to depart Cousins, with the last scene showing Belly at the airport awaiting a flight and spotting Conrad also leaving town.

Many fans are eager to know when they can tune in to the next episode of TSITP - here's everything you need to know.

When is The Summer I Turned Pretty season 3 episode 9 released?

The ninth episode of The Summer I Turned Pretty season three will be available on Wednesday, September 3 on Amazon Prime Video.

The episode will be released worldwide on the streaming platform from 12am Pacific Standard Time on the day of release.

This translates to 3am Eastern Standard Time for those on the Eastern Seaboard of America.

For UK viewers, the episode will be accessible from 8am on the day of release.

Season three has been released weekly, with the exception of the first two episodes which were launched as a double bill.

There are 11 episodes in total in season three, leaving fans with three more to savour.

In comparison to the novel, it appears that author and co-showrunner Jenny Han will be providing fans with an abundance of Belly and Conrad scenes.

Numerous readers previously expressed dissatisfaction with Han's final novel We'll Always Have Summer, arguing that it concluded the story too abruptly.

Amazon Prime Video unveiled a trailer for the show's final three episodes last week, following the eighth episode.

In the trailer, Belly embarks on a journey to Paris in an attempt to reflect on her life's events and rediscover herself away from Cousins, her family, friends, Jeremiah and Conrad.

She also befriends some new faces, with Amazon Prime Video announcing several new additions, including Heartstopper's Corinna Brown, Untamed Royals actor Fernando Cattori, French-Swiss star Isaline Prevost Radeff of Haute Mer fame, and Jahz Armando.

A multitude of viewers have already taken to social media to share their thoughts on the end of season trailer.

One individual commented under the YouTube teaser: "only 3 episodes left but this trailer makes it feel it will be a whole different season [sic]."

Another remarked: "Making the last 10 pages of the book into 3 hours worth of content is the best decision I've ever seen from a book to series/movie adaptation."

One viewer commented: "exactly. because when i read the book it felt so fast and i expected only one episode to finish the book but we get TWO episodes [sic]."

Another fan expressed: "I had the same feeling when I read the last pages of the book, and it's great that they left the last three episodes. I hope that in the final episodes, they will show us and reveal a little more about the relationship between Belli and Conrad, which was left undescribed, will see [sic]."

A third chimed in: "After all the heartbreak, drama, and heaviness, I'd really like to see some more of their actual relationship, love, and the mushy gushy stuff. All we have gotten are the flashbacks so it would be nice to see their love in 'real time.'".

The Summer I Turned Pretty season 3 airs on Wednesdays on Amazon Prime Video
