A passenger had to be escorted off a Heathrow-bound flight after reportedly trying to hit a flight attendant and open the plane door. Police, firefighters and airport ground service response units dramatically scrambled to a Saudia Airlines jumbo as it touched down at London Heathrow Airport.
The routine flight from Jedda - registered HZ-AR27 - turned into mayhem when a passenger had a meltdown leaving startled passengers "frightened". Stairs were hastily erected after Boeing 737 Dreamliner landed at Heathrow shortly before 1pm allowing officials to enter the cockpit. But before the plane had fully stopped, the unruly passenger tried to open the aircraft door.
