Ever dreamt of owning a designer piece of jewellery but put off by the hefty price tag? Well, you're in luck as we've discovered an Abbott Lyon necklace that looked very similar to a coveted Burberry necklace, but for more than £400 cheaper. 

The Burberry Shield Chain Necklace carries a substantial £450 price tag, made from sterling silver with a gold coating and cubic zirconia shield motifs embellishing the chain. In contrast, Abbott Lyon's Sphere Chain Necklace gives a similar look with spherical embellishments spaced throughout the chain, but is on sale for £40.50 (down from £45).

Abbott Lyon's necklace, which has a gold-plated finish and is stylish, straightforward, and ideal for daily wear, can be worn alone or stacked with other necklaces.

The item comes in a choice of three lengths and with an additional extender for added versatility, reports OK.

According to Abbott Lyon, the necklace is crafted from 18k gold-plated stainless steel and features an anti-tarnish layer that withstands water, sweat, and heat.

Like all of the brand's offerings, it also comes with a two-year quality guarantee and is made from over 60% recycled materials.

In a review, one shopper said: "This necklace is fine and delicate and goes with anything you are wearing. I love it."

Another shopper enthused: "Love how this necklace can be used alongside the other necklaces as a stacker! Very versatile".

A further customer added: "I've had this chain for five years and wear it every day, and it's perfect!".

However, not every piece of feedback was entirely positive, with one buyer observing: "Lovely necklace, however would like to see it with a slightly thicker chain and beads."
