Phillip Schofield may have lost his glittering TV career, as the fallen  This Morning presenter's earnings have been revealed. The presenter, 63, who came out as gay in 2020, is still tied to wife Stephanie, despite his affair with a young colleague that blew up his life and forced him to quit This Morning in 2023.

Two years on from the scandal that ended his time on screen, while Phil’s professional world may have collapsed, his financial and family ties to Stephanie appear unbreakable. In new figures reported by the MailOnline, it shows that Phil has pocketed just £20,000 last year, a world away from the seven-figure earnings he once commanded at ITV. Accounts for his firm, Fistral Productions, reveal it paid just £3,947 in tax for the year to November 2024, pointing to his modest income.

Yet the company still boasts net assets of £2.1 million, keeping him financially cushioned despite the collapse of his career. Stephanie, whom he wed back in 1993, remains a director of the business. In fact, it was her name, not his, that appeared on the latest filings.

The accounts also show the firm is owed nearly £900,000 by Fistral Properties, another venture jointly owned by the couple.

Despite the public disgrace, Phil continues to wear his wedding ring, spend time at the family home and has remained devoted to Stephanie despite admitting he knew he was gay when he married her

Phil previously explained how he had been leading the "perfect life" as a married family man and said he hadn't wanted anything to get in the way of their happiness.

But the TV presenter knew he had caused his wife great pain, saying: "That is what makes this so hard. Knowing you are hurting the perfect person, but I still love Steph as much as when we first met. More, probably."

It was later revealed Stephanie chose not to file for divorce because she did not want her husband to 'fall any further' than he already has, and despite everything, "the love is still very much there".

Despite returning to TV last year briefly, Phil has rarely been seen in public since his bombshell fall from grace more than two years ago. He was spotted at a trendy Soho hotel last September, where he put on an animated display as he dined al fresco with daughter Molly and long-time friend Scott Brown.

Last week the former This Morning host was spotted staggering out onto the street clinging onto a mystery male following a day of drinking in London.
