Globetrotter Kristina Cors, who often takes to social media to share her travel hacks, has shared a 'hidden gem' in Spain that's located just 20 minutes away from Malaga and looks like it belongs in a fairytale.
Taking to TikTok, where she has over 751,300 followers, she shared one place she belived everyone who visits Spain should go to.
"When people go to Malaga, Spain and miss places like this 20 minutes away," she wrote on the video.
She went on to share clips from her visiting Colomares Castle, located in the town of Benalmádena in southern Spain. While the castle looks old, it was built between 1987 to 1994, and was dedicated to the life and adventures of Christopher Columbus.
Covering an area of 1,500 meters, it is the largest monument in the world to the explorer, but also contains the smallest church in the world, covering an area of just 1.96 square meters
In her video, Kristina showed snippets of the castles from different angles, most of which had flowers also blooming in the picturesque shots.
She was also seen walking around the castle grounds and standing on a balcony, taking in the views that look like they belonged in a fairytale.
"Don’t go to Spain without visiting THIS incredible castle," she wrote in the caption of the video.
Several people quickly took to the comment section, with many comparing the castle to 'The Spring Court' from fantasy book series A Court of Thornes and Roses by Sarah J Maas.
"Wow," one person simply wrote, while someone else said: " Been there once, really worth a visit!"
"I live 5 minutes away from this castle and it’s stunning," another viewer said.
"Omg... I feel like I'm in a fairytale," a fourt person said.
If you're visiting Malaga but don't want to drive the 20 minutes to get to the Colomares Castle, another person recommended: "[Take] the train from malaga to arroyo de la miel, then bus to the village of benalmadena pueblo. Its a 2€ entrance fee, go early morning and explore the church grounds nearby too."
However, not everyone seemed impressed, as one viewer went on to name it a 'tourist trap' due to the fact that it was only built in the 1980s.
