Britain’s beloved Red Arrows are set to dominate the skies this August, bringing their world-class aerobatic displays and precision flypasts to towns and cities across the United Kingdom.
From Lincolnshire to Lancashire and all the way to Scotland and Cornwall, fans will have plenty of opportunity to witness one of the nation’s proudest traditions. Whether you’re a die-hard aviation enthusiast or simply looking for a spectacular family day out this summer, here’s your essential guide to every confirmed Red Arrows appearance in August 2025. But first, here are some tips to make sure you dont miss the shows:
1. Popular sites like Blackpool and Eastbourne draw big crowds, so arrive well before scheduled flypasts.
2. Timings can shift due to weather or operational needs - monitor official channels on show days.
3. Bring binoculars for transits or distant flypasts outside main display arenas.
4. Stay within designated crowd areas for your safety and optimal viewing.

RAF Waddington to RAF Valley Transit (Anglesey)

Route includes North Scarle, Maplebeck, Haywood, Rudyard, Graidfechan, Capel Curig, Glasinfrnyn
RAF Valley to Blackpool Airport Transit
3.25pm Departure from RAF Valley
Overflies Irish Sea towards Lancashire coast
4.05pm Arrival at Blackpool Airport
Rhyl Town Show Flypast – 1.49pm
Blackpool Airshow Display – 2pm
Departs Blackpool, goes past Southport, Llandudno, Colwyn Bay, Rhyl, Eccleston, Belmont, Copster Green and Esprick before returning to Blackpool
Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo Flypast – 6.17pm
Departs Blackpool heading north over Cumbria into Scotland via Penrith, Eyemouth, Gullane and Musselburgh. Key passes over Edinburgh city centre landmarks including Murrayfield Stadium at 6.18pm, then looping back south via Whitehaven. Returns to Blackpool by 6.40pm.
Evening return transit to RAF Waddington: Departs Blackpool at 7.30pm, passing Cleveleys, Great Eccleston, Grassington, Tollerton, Swinefleet and Scotton before arrival at base by 7.53pm. This final leg is always popular with spotters hoping for one last sighting after a busy weekend.
