Hollywood sensation Sydney Sweeney has reportedly been bombarded with messages from Premier League stars following her recent breakup. The 27-year-old, hailed as 'the world's most attractive woman,' is back on the market after ending things with former beau Jonathan Davino earlier this year.
The pair began their romance in 2018 and became engaged in 2022, but have now cancelled their nuptials. Sydney, who shot to stardom through her performance in the acclaimed HBO drama Euphoria, has also featured in blockbusters including 'Anyone But You' and 'Once Upon a Time in Hollywood', and is said to be embracing her newfound single status across the pond.
Nevertheless, she's captured the imagination of several of Britain's elite footballers, who have proposed whisking her away to Europe for intimate getaways.
A source disclosed to The Sun: "Her Instagram DMs are packed with messages from famous men trying to get in contact with her. It's mostly guys playing for teams like Manchester United, Liverpool, and Arsenal.
"They offer her trips to Europe to see them and take her on a date, but she's not the kind of person who does that. Some of them are very insistent and have even tried to find her address to send her flowers, but she always refuses.
"I'd say more than 100 people, from celebs to millionaires or very rich people from the Middle East and Asia, contact her every month."
Her pals are now allegedly joking that she's become "the most wanted woman in America since Madonna."
Despite the lighthearted banter from some admirers, Sweeney doesn't think twice about shutting down any overeager suitors who step over the mark.
The source said: "The ones who cross the line of respect are quickly blocked. Not long ago, an American actor who had recently divorced approached her to take her on a date.
"She declined and he started being very rude, so she told him to stop talking to her and to show some respect to her and all women."
It had been whispered that her engagement had been rocky for some time before they decided to part ways.
Sweeney's hectic filming schedule is believed to have contributed to the split, with her juggling both executive producer responsibilities and the starring role in her upcoming venture, The Housemaid.
Back in May, she spoke candidly about embracing her newly single life, revealing: "I'm learning a lot about myself, spending more time with my friends. And I'm loving it."
Sweeney has also caused quite a stir recently following her appearance in a campaign for American Eagle.
In the advertisement, she boldly posed without a bra, alongside the cheeky slogan: "Sydney Sweeney has great jeans."
