Ozzy Osbourne's funeral is scheduled for today in his hometown of Birmingham, with his beloved family covering the costs for the event and related expenses. His wife, Sharon, along with his children Kelly and Jack – possibly including other children – will walk in the procession before the private funeral later in the day, details of which remain undisclosed.
The local brass band Bostin Brass will provide the music for the procession, with members of Black Sabbath and musician Yungblud expected to participate. Fans at home can view the procession via a live stream of the Sabbath bench.
However many have traveled from across the world to pay their respects in person, including Canadian R&B star Drake, who was passing through the city on tour. Back In June, Ozzy and Black Sabbath received the Freedom of the City ahead of their Back to the Beginning gig, a star-studded event honouring Osbourne.
