Stacey Solomon is reportedly "too busy" for Loose Women in an update regarding her future on the programme. The beloved panellist hasn't featured on the ITV lunchtime show since the landmark 25 Hour Talkathon in December 2024.
However, sources have maintained that between her family commitments and additional television projects, the 35-year-old mother-of-five simply cannot spare the time to make a comeback.
A source told The Sun: "Stacey is always welcome back and is absolutely still considered part of the Loose family, but at the moment she's so busy with personal projects and her kids that she never seems to find the time.
"But they'd have her back in a heartbeat. They love her and there's no ill feeling towards her at all. She is just simply too busy to do it right now."
Stacey initially joined Loose Women in 2011, and has clocked up over 350 appearances, establishing herself as a regular panellist in 2016, reports MEN.
Whilst Stacey adores Loose Women, she remains occupied with domestic life alongside husband Joe Swash and their children, Zach and Leighton, 13, from previous relationships, Rex, six, Rose, three, and two year old Belle with Joe, plus Joe's son Harry.
The pair relished creating their reality television programme Stacey and Joe for the BBC and harbour ambitious plans ahead.
The source added: "Stacey and Joe's reality show has been a big win for them and the BBC and she'd love to repeat the magic.
"Another series of that and maybe something else focused on parenting would be a recipe for success. Watch this space but when she does find the time she will use it wisely - but that might mean we won't be seeing her back on Loose Women any time soon."
As previously reported, supporters were thrilled earlier this year when they received an insight into Stacey and Joe's genuine family life through their very own reality programme.
It was subsequently disclosed that the pair will be allowing cameras back into their residence for a second instalment of their BBC One show, Stacey and Joe.
The announcement came shortly after the sixth and concluding episode of the debut series broadcast in May. Production for the follow-up series has already commenced and will feature footage of the family embarking on a holiday together.
Last month, Stacey provided a brief update as she and her loved ones were accompanied by filming crews. She posted to her Instagram Story showing the equipment setup at Pickle Cottage alongside a message for admirers.
The mother-of-five penned to her more than six million followers: "It's been a long hot day of filming. Series 2 coming soon... [face holding back tears emoji]."
Enthusiasts were swift to react. One commented: "Can't wait for it! Hurry up! ! !" Another responded: "Can't wait, loved the first one."
A third posted: "Made my night." Another wrote: "Can't wait, absolutely loved series 1," while a fifth declared: "Yay! Loved series 1, can't wait for the next one."
The Express has contacted ITV and representatives for Stacey Solomon for comment.
