Today's new picture was accompanied by the message: "Happy 12th Birthday to Prince George!" followed by a cake emoji.

Royal fans took to the comment section to wish the royal a very happy birthday and praise him on how much he has grown. One user wrote on X: "Happy Birthday Prince George. Time flies. Can’t believe 12 years already wow."

A second one commented: "He was only a toddler a few days ago. hbd [happy birthday], Prince George."
