Jeremy Clarkson's partner, Lisa Hogan, has shared her terrifying experience of surviving a plane crash, reports Gloucestershire Live.
On her Instagram Stories, where she typically shares updates about their farm and filming disruptions, the 51 year old former model posted a photo of Jeremy's latest newspaper column.
Accompanying the image, she penned: "Jeremy's Sunday Times column mentioned a little plane crash I had. And here's the picture."
The subsequent image revealed the aircraft split into two after colliding with a van on the roadside.
Lisa continued: "Amazingly the pilots, van drivers, and I survived. I took another flight the same day. And landed safely."
In his piece, The Grand Tour presenter detailed how the pair had been involved in three plane crashes altogether.
While Jeremy described his incidents as "fairly minor" with "broken landing gear", he disclosed that hers was a "proper shunt".
He elaborated on how she was the sole passenger on a Learjet flight that "careered off the end of the runway at Northolt" and ended up on the A40, where it crashed into a van. The impact was so severe that the plane was left in two pieces.
Jeremy expressed his astonishment that no one was killed given the severity of the crash.
Lisa was travelling from Majorca to London in 1997 when the aeroplane crashed onto the major A road.
At that time, she resided in Palma, Spain and was working on the comedy Fierce Creatures, featuring Monty Python and Fawlty Towers legend John Cleese.
Speaking to the Irish Independent in 2024, she recounted how the plane had taken off from Palma and initially "everything was fine for a while".
Lisa then detailed how the captain attempted to persuade her to switch seats, but she adamantly declined.
"I insisted on sitting where I was, which was just as well because that was the area where the van came through when we crashed and I would have been killed instantly," she shared with the publication, suggesting her refusal may have saved her life.
Following the crash, Lisa promptly booked another flight and returned to Majorca mere hours later.
The recent Instagram post by Lisa marks a departure from her usual content, which typically features updates from Diddly Squat Farm and news about the filming of Clarkson's Farm.
The actress and model is now recognised as one of the stars of Prime Video's Clarkson's Farm, where she assists her partner Jeremy in managing Diddly Squat Farm, as well as their additional venture, The Farmer's Dog pub.
Lisa is frequently seen enjoying sneaky tractor rides and providing updates on the farm's crops and animals.
Production of Clarkson's Farm's fifth season is currently underway, following its approval by the streaming service last year.
