Piers Morgan’s ex-wife Marion Shalloe has been left “fighting for her life” after a devastating accident, as their son Spencer shared a series hospital snaps alongside a health update online. The Uncensored star was married to Marion from 1991 to 2008 and share three children together, Albert, Stanley, and Spencer.
On Saturday (July 19), their eldest son took to Instagram to share the horrific ordeal with fans after suffering a freak accident several months ago. Alongside a series of snaps of his mum, seen wearing a green floral dress on the hospital ward, he shared a lengthy post online. It read: “Seven months ago our mum was involved in a freak accident which left her fighting for her life...
“We were told on more than one occasion that there was little hope if any but against all odds she hung on in there and thanks to the two heroic surgeons in the third pic and countless others at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital she left hospital today after 218 days on the ward.
“The staff labelled her a minor miracle but they are miracle workers. My family are eternally grateful for their incredible work. Never give up [muscle emoji].”
Although Spence didn’t reveal what injuries his mum endured, he included a video of the hospital staff as they cheered while Spencer’s mum was seen walking out of the ward with a crutch.
The crowd of workers appeared to be overjoyed that she’d made an impressive recovery as they applauded her exit. It didn’t take long before fans flooded to the comments to pass on their best wishes for a speedy recover online.
One user penned: “Oh my goodness, what a terrible time you’ve all been through. Please send my love to your lovely Mum. I’m so pleased she is going home.”
Another wrote: “Gosh so happy your mum is okay [prayer emoji] Chelsea & Westminster saved my life too, they’re earth angels” as a third echoed: “Absolutely fantastic news, well done to you all for not giving up.”
A fourth chimed in with: “I’m so happy to see dearest Marion finally walking out of there. My love to all of you and big love for Mazza, who is truly one incredible lady!!”
Marion herself was a hospital ward nurse when she tied the knot with the broadcaster back in1991. Piers is now married to Celia Walder since 2010 and share their daughter Elise who was born on year later.
