Prince Harry and King Charles' "peace summit" has been dubbed a "stitch-up" by one expert who once worked for the late Queen Elizabeth II. Earlier this month, two members of Harry's team - Meredith Maines, his chief communications officer and Liam Maguire, who leads Harry and Meghan Markle's UK PR team - were seen at an informal meeting with the King's communications secretary Tobyn Andreae.
Although the meeting, held at a London private members' club called Royal Over-Seas League, was intended to be private, the trio were photographed chatting on a terrace overlooking Green Park. The photograph, obtained by Mail On Sunday, has led to speculation, with Dickie Arbiter, the former press spokesman to Queen Elizabeth II, believing it was a "set up" - claims Harry has denied.
As reported by Nine Honey, he said: "Now, how the hell were they photographed from Green Park? Unless somebody knew that they were going to be there? However, the palace's official stance is the age old, 'Never complain, never explain. And they're sticking with that.'
