Brooklyn Beckham seems to have drawn a line in the sand by unfollowing his younger siblings Cruz and Romeo on social media. This development comes despite Victoria and David's eldest child appearing to extend an olive branch amidst the family rift earlier this week through a heartfelt birthday message for his younger sister, Harper.

The 26-year-old condiment mogul continues to follow his celebrity parents, raising questions about whether tensions between him and his brothers have been brewing privately. Brooklyn's bond with brother Romeo has seemingly soured in recent months following suggestions that his younger sibling's former partner Kim Turnbull was at the centre of their dispute. Back in June, model Kim broke her silence regarding allegations that she had previously been romantically linked with Brooklyn before beginning a relationship with Romeo. Taking to her Instagram account with a firm statement, she insisted she would "not continue to receive harassment or be embarrassed on the basis of lies, to fit a certain narrative", reports the Mirror.

She set the record straight, stating: "I have never been romantically involved in ANY capacity at ANY point with the person in question. Nothing between us has occurred further than a school friendship at age 16."

Brooklyn Beckham's strained ties with brother Cruz left parents Victoria and David perplexed, as the siblings had always been on good terms. However, Brooklyn's apparent cold shoulder during a London visit post-David's birthday has seen Cruz firmly align with his folks.

On Thursday, Brooklyn took to Instagram Stories to celebrate sister Harper's birthday, sharing a snap with wife Nicola Peltz and the birthday girl. He captioned it: "Happy birthday harper we love u x," tagging Nicola.

The 30-year-old actress echoed the sentiment by reposting it on her Story.

Brooklyn, who was a mere 12 years old when Harper arrived, has historically shared a tight-knit bond with her. Yet, amidst family discord, there were concerns he might not acknowledge her special day.

These fears were stoked when Brooklyn and Nicola didn't visit Harper during a May trip to London for an ad shoot, despite being a stone's throw from the Beckham residence.

The anxiety was compounded by Brooklyn's recent pattern of overlooking significant family events. Notably absent from David's 50th birthday festivities, he also notably ignored the announcement of David's knighthood.

Meanwhile, brothers Romeo and Cruz, along with parents David and Victoria, also conveyed their birthday wishes to Harper on the same social platform.

The eldest Beckham offspring recently extended birthday wishes to David's mum Sandra two weeks ago, despite having overlooked both of his parents' birthdays. However, he failed to do the same for Victoria's father Tony back in May.

Earlier this month, Nicola Peltz, 30, robustly defended herself against accusations of being "controlling" over husband Brooklyn following a series of snaps from a party with friends. Fans flocked to the comments section to offer their congratulations, but some used the opportunity to level criticism at Nicola and Brooklyn, including insinuations that Nicola is responsible for the alleged estrangement between her husband and his family.

Nevertheless, several supporters rallied to Nicola's side under the post, which featured pictures of Brooklyn with Nelson. One particular comment, suggesting that Brooklyn is capable of making his own choices, received a like from Nicola herself.
