In a remarkable feat of modern battlefield tactics, Ukraine’s 28th Mechanized Brigade has successfully neutralised a heavily fortified Russian ‘Tsar Tank’ during an attempted assault near the frontline town of Toretsk.

According to battlefield footage released by DeepState, the armoured behemoth – a rare and intimidating sight in Russia’s military arsenal – was ultimately destroyed using an extraordinary 60 first-person-view (FPV) drones. The so-called ‘Tsar Tank’, a nickname given by Ukrainian forces due to its massive presence and seemingly indestructible build, was reportedly equipped with a mine roller and enhanced armour, making it resistant to conventional anti-tank munitions

The tank's reinforced structure offered few vulnerable spots, forcing Ukraine’s defenders to launch a sustained wave of drone strikes in order to disable and ultimately destroy the vehicle.

This defensive triumph marks a significant moment in Ukraine’s ongoing resistance, demonstrating not only the ingenuity of its forces but also the increasing reliance on drone warfare in repelling Russian offensives.

Each FPV drone, guided by skilled operators, was deployed in a strategic attempt to identify weak points in the tank's armour, highlighting the tactical adaptability of Ukrainian units under pressure.

As Ukraine continues to defend its territory, this event underscores both the evolution of warfare and the resilience of its front-line defenders.
