Julia Bradbury has opened up about being involved in a "perfect" TV wedding while presenting Today At The Great Yorkshire Show on Channel 5.
The TV star teamed up with Jules Hudson to front the show, which is due to air on 5 on Thursday, 10 July and took place at the showground in Harrogate across two days. A special appearance was also made by Yorkshire Vet star Peter Wright.
Julia took part in a daring activity for the show, as she climbed 80 feet up a telegraph pole to tell the show's "most romantic" story yet.
She detailed the tale of couple Peri Dunford and Mark Jones, who got engaged in 2024 at The Great Yorkshire Show. Peri proposed while Mark, who was competing as a climber, was 100ft up the telegraph pole.
Julia said: "I decided to climb the pole as I wanted to immerse myself in what the most romantic story of The Great Yorkshire Show, I'm out of breath but it was worth it."
Peri and Mark, from Garstand near Preston, got hitched at this year's Today At The Great Yorkshire Show in romantic scenes due to air in the episode.
The couple's nuptials were unique as they had their working horses Tyne and Stinot as bridesmaids, with TV stars Julia and Jules witnessing the ceremony.
"I just love a wedding it was perfect," Julia gushed after attending as a special guest with her co-star.
Blushing bride Peri said: "It's been fantastic, we love the show and just wanted to get married here, it seemed like the perfect place with our horses."
Speaking about the special moment, Rachel Coates, director of The Great Yorkshire Show, said: "Although this is not the first wedding we have hosted during the show it is in a unique location in the forest which is completely appropriate for a couple with such strong links to the forestry section.
"We are honoured that they have chosen this space to tie the knot and wish them a long and happy future together."
Other TV stars were also in attendance, including Rob and Dave Nicholson from Cannon Hall Farm, who star in Springtime on the Farm.
The show also sees Julia explore the world of cheese with food expert Nigel Barden, while Jules delves into the machinery section.
Today at the Great Yorkshire Show is on tonight and tomorrow at 8pm on 5.
