The Debenhams dress has been rated a high 4.1 out of 5 star rating online. One shopper wrote: "Gorgeous dress, even better than the pictures, tempted to buy another as a spare."

Another said: "Lovely dress, good quality material that's true to size." "Lovely quality, made well and feels nice on. Flows nicely," said another shopper.

However, some others didn't appreciate the dress as much, as one person wrote: "I ordered this dress for a white party abroad and so disappointed when I pulled the dress out the packaging to immediately see the dress is not white as stipulated on both the website and tag. It's very obviously cream or off-white but definitely not white."

Another said: "The fabric was not good."
