Queen Camilla delighted royal fans today as she stepped out at Wimbledon after a busy 24 hours. The Queen, 77, was all smiles as she spent the afternoon in the sunshine at the tennis competition, just hours after waving goodbye to French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife Brigitte, who spent the first night of their UK state visit at Windsor Castle.

While many royal fans noticed that the Queen was accompanied by her sister Annabel Elliot, many were surprised to see a newer family member in the Royal Box on Wednesday. Sat just seats away from Her Majesty, Peter Phillips could be seen enjoying the tennis, along with his girlfriend Harriet Sperling.

The couple looked all loved-up as they attended the match, sporting sunglasses.

This is not the first time Harriet, a paediatric specialist nurse and freelance writer, has stepped out with Princess Anne’s son in public.

Just weeks ago, Harriet attended Royal Ascot with Peter, along with a number of other senior royals, including King Charles and Queen Camilla.

She was spotted chatting to a number of royals including Princess Anne, 74, and Peter’s sister Zara Tindall.

Harriet also made an appearance with Peter earlier this year when she attended New Year's Day Racing at Cheltenham Racecourse by his side.

Their first public appearance together was last May, when Peter invited his girlfriend to the Badminton Horse Trials.

Queen Camilla is the most senior royal to attend the Wimbledon tournament so far this year.

Other royals to take to the Royal Box include Duchess Sophie, Princess Beatrice, Sarah Ferguson and the Duchess of Gloucester.

Princess Kate, as royal patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, has yet to step out at Wimbledon this year.
