In a truly harrowing incident, a mother allegedly "pinned" down her five year old daughter and forcibly "yanked out" her teeth, claiming the little girl was possessed by a demon. The woman in question, Rebecca Lee Bailey, aged 40, found herself under arrest on June 19 when the police were tipped off about a potential case of child abuse. According to eyewitnesses present at the horrifying scene, Bailey was heard accusing the young child of "having a demon in her" whilst wielding a cross.

Reports from Raleigh County Sheriff's Office indicate that the mother is accused of restraining her daughter and extracting two of her teeth. The Sheriff's Office promptly notified Child Protective Services and the emergency services, taking immediate measures to ensure the child received medical help and protection. Currently, Bailey remains behind bars at the Southern Regional Jail with her bail set at an imposing $50,000.

This disturbing episode emerged shortly after another vicious act where a cruel mother, who smothered her toddler for crying out loud in a store, was seen smiling as the emergency teams administered CPR on the child. The woman, Suad Ali, aged 29, admitted to second-degree murder charges following her heinous act of suffocating her three year old offspring on July 20, 2023, reports the Mirror.

Law enforcement officers were called to a household in Minnesota, where there were reports of a three year old girl lying motionless. Arriving at the scene, the officers were met with the sight of Ali kneeling and yelling over her daughter, who lay unresponsive on the floor of the living room.

The mother confessed to the police "she killed her" after she covered the child's mouth because the toddler wouldn't stop crying in a shop. Authorities also found out that Ali had attempted to stab her daughter earlier that night with a knife, but didn't harm her. The knife was later discovered on the arm of a sofa.

Police reported that Ali smiled as emergency services performed CPR on the girl, who was subsequently pronounced dead. Ali confessed to officers that she intentionally tried to kill her daughter. She was imprisoned last Monday for 12-and-a-half years. In another case, the parents of a baby found lifeless inside a hotel cupboard drawer have been charged with her murder, according to police reports.

Little Brooklyn Fancher was discovered unresponsive inside the drawer at Days Inn, Houston, in May 2024, and was declared dead at the scene. A coroner determined that she tragically died from suffocation.

Investigators suspect the baby's parents, Jeremy Fancher and Destiny Campos, placed her inside the drawer so they could engage in sexual activity in the hotel room.

"She [Campos] acknowledged that the child was placed inside of this drawer on several different occasions and indicated the reasons why the child was placed there, one of which was to aid in, uh, the defendant and the co-defendant having 'personal time' together," stated the judge during the hearing. Both parents have been charged.
