Princess Kate will take a starring role in a state visit next week as the King and Queen welcome President Emmanuel Macron of France to the UK. The Princess of Wales, 43, will accompany her husband Prince William, 43, to greet the French leader and his wife Brigitte Macron when they land in London on Tuesday.
The couple will then travel by car with Emmanuel and Brigitte to Windsor Castle. Buckingham Palace has confirmed that King Charles and Queen Camilla will be then formally welcome the couple on a Royal Dias at Datchet Road, not far from the castlee, where a Royal Salute will be fired.
A carriage procession will then take place through the town to Windsor Castle, with Princess Kate also set to take part in the procession.
