Prince Harry appears to have been “snubbed” by the Royal Family today as they issued a poignant message to mark Armed Forces Day. Taking to Instagram on Saturday, the Royal Family’s official social media account posted a moving message to all members of the military to mark the significant day.

The message read: “Saluting all members of the military this Armed Forces Day. Thank you for your tireless service, protecting the UK and promoting peace overseas.

“We are hugely grateful for your efforts, often in the face of danger, and those of your loved ones, providing support at home.”

This could be considered as a snub by the Royals, as Harry undertook two tours of Afghanistan and qualified as an Apache helicopter gunship commander, rising to the rank of captain.

The Duke of Sussex - who spoke about his time in the military in his 2023 memoir Spare - flew six missions during his second tour of Afghanistan as an Apache helicopter gunship Commander.

While many royal fans have praised the moving Instagram post, others have commented on the fact Harry has not been acknowledged.

One fan wrote: “I don't think Harry deserves to be left out he has probably the most active service of anyone since Prince Phillip.”

Another commented: “What about Prince Harry?”
