US President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu have agreed to end the war in Gaza in two weeks, Israeli media reports. The decision was reached over a phone call, Israeli media reports, which quotes a source "familiar with the conversation". An arrangement is set to see four Arab states, including the United Arab Emirates and Egypt, jointly governing the Gaza strip in place of Hamas, according to reports. The deal will see the group ousted from the territory, and all hostages released, it is understood.

A four-way phone call is believed to have taken place shorty after the US attack on Iran's nuclear facilities at the weekend, which included President Donald Trump, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and Minister of Strategic Affairs Ron Dermer. The officials were in a "euphoric" following the strikes that hit three facilities, a source has said.

Also agreed during the call, according to Israel Hayom, was that "several countries around the world" will absorb many of the residents of Gaza who seek to emigrate.

In addition, the Abraham Accords will be expanded, meaning that Syria, Saudi Arabia, and Arab and Muslim countries will "recognise Israel and establish official relations" with the country.

Moreover, the deal will see Israel expressing "willingness" for a two state solution, "conditional on reforms in the Palestinian Authority".

Lastly, the US will "recognise the application of some Israeli sovereignty in Judea and Samaria", the Israeli outlet detailed.
