Kensington Palace have shared a new picture of Prince William to mark his 43rd birthday today. The picture, which was taken in Windsor by the Princess of Wales earlier this month, shows the royal alongside their dog Orla and her four recently-arrived puppies.

The caption alongside of the picture read: "Happy birthday! Love C, G, C, L, Orla and the puppies! [dog-paw emoji]."

The Royal Family's official social media plaforms are known to share public messages on the birthdays of senior members of the family. Posted prior to Kensington Palace's post, King Charles also shared a public message to his eldest son earlier this morning.

The King's message, alongside a picture of William, read, "Happy Birthday to the Prince of Wales [red-balloon emoji] [party-popper emoji]."
