A huge fireball and plumes of smoke follow. Flight AI171 departed from Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport in Ahmedabad earlier today, carrying 230 passengers and 12 crew members. According to Flightradar24 data, the aircraft lost signal at an altitude of 625 feet, less than a minute after takeoff. Only one person is said to have survived the devastating plane crash.
