A baby that was dragged 15ft during the Liverpool Parade horror has miraculously avoided serious injury. Daniel Eveson thought he had "lost everything" when the swerving car struck his family, including his partner who was dragged under the wheels.
Daniel was also hit in the chest by the car before his partner went under the wheels and his son's pram was "chucked about 15ft down the road".
The Liverpool fan managed to locate his son who amazingly seemed unharmed and didn't need hospital treatment, with the pram taking on the majority of the impact.
He told the BBC:"From me looking and finding his pram, to not knowing if he was alive, to seeing him alive. It was a lot to take on... I thought I had lost everything, I really did."
Workers from a nearby restaurant helped take care of the infant while Daniel returned to search for his partner, who had to go to hospital for treatment.
Daniel, from Telford, Shropshire, continued: "I don't honestly believe I will be able to go to a parade or celebration like that ever again. Because there will always be that fear in the back of my mind that anything can happen and we might not be in control."
