Zara Tindall will unlikely ever accept to work for King Charles because it would make her life "complicated", according to a royal expert. Princess Anne's daughter is a beloved member of the Royal Family and among the top contenders among the public regarding who should step up for the King if needed.
Her latest appearance alongside the Prince and Princess of Wales at the King's Garden Party at Buckingham Palace this week sparked a right royal frenzy, with fans calling for Zara to become a working royal. But according to a royal expert, Zara will likely not choose to have a more prominent role within the Firm for one reason. Royal author Robert Jobson told Hello!'s A Right Royal Podcast: "I do think that it's about money. The ones who are working are on the payroll.
"I don't think that's going to be the case in terms of the unofficial side of things. I think it'll be very much more informal."
He added that it would limit Zara's opportunities, explaining: "For example, Zara has been very popular. You'll see her at Royal Ascot, you'll see her doing her own thing.
"She won't want to be limited commercially by people saying, 'Oh, she's a royal, she's working. She shouldn't be getting this deal or that too.' That would just complicate matters."
It comes after the royal's husband, Mike Tindall, sent royal fans wild after he appeared to hint that his wife could be set to appear on the upcoming series of BBC's Strictly Come Dancing,
The 46-year-old posted a picture of Zara – who recently celebrated her 44rd birthday – with dancing professional and Strictly judge, Anton Du Beke.
The picture was taken as the couple attended a charity golfing event, which was also attended by Anton, 58.
