Just when you think this government couldn’t do anything more to harm the British people – it does. This week it was announced that vicious killers and rapists will now be freed from jail in a soft-justice masterplan that top police officers have warned could result in anarchy. Of course it damn well could. When you free society’s most dangerous villains before they’ve been made to pay for their vile crimes it emboldens them.

It makes it crystal clear they can do whatever the hell they want knowing there’ll be no consequences. And so bolstered are they by this Government’s apathy for public safety, they’ll go out and kill, rob and rape more innocent people knowing the limp-wristed idiots in charge of our justice system will always find ways to justify and excuse their brutality – totally ignoring the wrecked lives of their victims.

What idiot doesn’t get this? Well one of the biggest is Justice Secretary, Shabana Mahmood, who this week trumpeted her new plan to chemically castrate paedophiles and rapists.

And anyone who believes that’ll ever happen needs to give their heads a wobble because the leftie bed-wetters will never sanction it on the basis it’s an infringement of the paedos’ human rights.

This was just another soundbite from a rattled government trying to detract attention from their dangerous early release schemes which aren’t even freeing up prison spaces but ARE contributing to the rocketing crime rate.

Idiot number two is former Lord Chancellor David Gauke, whose long awaited Sentencing Review is as soppy and ineffectual as he was when in government. His report basically says: ‘Don’t send people to jail’.

And he wants to ban ALL sentences of under 12 months and thinks a fitting punishment for those people would be to ban them from driving and using public transport.

Wow – that’ll really smash the shoplifting epidemic that’s costing us £2billion a billion a year. Is Gauke such a cretin he believes that the people who ram-raid supermarkets stealing thousands of pounds worth of stuff at a time will be deterred by not being able to use the No 10 bus?

Idiot No 3: Prison Minister James Timpson who says the UK is addicted to “sentencing and punishment”, which has to make you question his sanity if he looks around this country and thinks we’re addicted to punishment, bearing in mind judges have been directed NOT to jail serial offenders and thousands of hardened criminals are being released.

This liberal fool also disagrees with the whole concept of prison and thinks most people in jail shouldn’t be there, which is presumably why the worst of them are now being thrown back onto the streets despite warnings there’ll be a breakdown of law and order.

Why the hell are we allowing these wet, wimpy, lily-livered fools to test their soft justice experiments on British people who are now in mortal danger because of them? Especially when we know these early release schemes aren’t working, as prison recalls are up by more than 40%.

As are re–release schemes, which means those called back for a second time are released again, having by-passed the Parole Board and the Probation Service who’ve both said they’re way too dangerous to be freed.

What kind of government sanctions that and wilfully puts dangerous killers and rapists back onto the streets knowing that innocent people will get hurt, maybe even killed?

On what planet does it make sense to keep Lucy Connolly, a young mum who sent a nasty tweet, in jail, yet sets killers, paedos and rapists free?

Our justice system isn’t just broken – it’s now a dangerous liability that puts society’s most dangerous above law-abiding people. And it’s being led by Mahmood, THE worst and weakest Justice Secretary we’ve ever had. Remember last year she promised killers and rapists would never be released early? She lied and gaslighted us all.

Labour is now actively undermining the rule of law and its soft justice is an affront to all the victims of crimes – to the raped women who went through hell to even get their abuser to court, to the families whose loved ones have been horrifically murdered, to the children whose lives have been forever ruined by the perverts who stole their innocence.

Labour spits on all of these people while giving help and succour to the monsters who ruined their lives. Letting these vile lags out early makes a mockery of justice and it blows up trust in a system that now panders to dangerous criminals while sticking two fingers up at their victims.

J Lo joined stars at the Stephen Sondheim theatre this week to celebrate the birthday of 98-year-old songwriter John Kander.

You’d think on such a night the limelight would have been reserved for the legendary Kander famous for hit musicals like Cabaret and Chicago. But, no, the self-obsessed singer made sure she grabbed a big chunk of it by having two outfit changes in one night – a low cut peach satin dress that showed off her ample bosoms then a white dress that showed off acres of leg.

Couldn’t she have sacked off the relentless self-promotion for just one night to let the hugely talented Kander have his moment?

Remember back in 2022 when Jeremy Clarkson wrote an excoriating column about how much he hated Meghan Markle?

The fallout made international headlines. We were told ITV was sacking him from Who Wants to be a Millionaire? Amazon were going to axe Clarkson’s Farm and Meghan-lovers everywhere were baying for his blood and screaming for him to be cancelled.

Fast forward two years and ITV have renewed Clarkson’s multi-million pound contract and the fourth series of Clarkson’s Farm aired this week (Amazon paid him £160million for the first three so God-knows what he’s getting for the new shows).

So, not so much cancelled – more catapulted to mega fame and wealth. As for Meghan – she’s now scrabbling around making bath salts, baking cakes and chucking flower sprinkles on everything that’s not nailed down in an effort to earn a buck.

Gary Lineker has finally got what he deserves. He’s been ousted from the BBC. He’s been told he can’t present the World Cup or do any other work for the Corporation. And his podcast, The Rest is Football, has been expunged from the BBC’s audio streaming service.

It’ll soon be like he never existed there – a 26 year career vaporised because of his arrogance and stupidity. And as he hurtles towards his dotage, I wonder if he’ll think his nasty, hurtful, ill-informed tweets were worth sacrificing a reputation it took him a lifetime to build?

A 66-strong flotilla of Little Ships set off from Ramsgate to Northern France this week to commemorate the evacuation of Dunkirk in 1940 and the “bravery and sacrifice” of those who took part in Operation Dynamo which brought 330,000 soldiers home safely.

But those little ships were shoved out of the way by our own Border Force and the French Navy, who asked them to divert to allow a boat full of illegal migrants to get here safely.

I mean what the actual f**k? What the hell is happening in this country that on the day British veterans and their families were marking the heroism of Dunkirk, they’re asked to get out of the way for a load of illegal migrants who shouldn’t be coming here in the first place.

So we have people who’ve done sod-all for this country being prioritised over people who fought and were willing to die for it?

The BBC’s first black Doctor Who, Ncuti Gatwa, has reportedly been axed after just two series because of plummeting ratings and woke storylines featuring non-binary aliens, drag queens and imperialism plots. When will the snowflakes and wokies at the Beeb learn not to let their pathetic virtue-signalling damage the products WE’RE paying for?

Ncuti Gatwa, who I suspect was picked to be the Doctor for reasons other than his “talent”, isn’t just a hopeless actor, but he brought his political views to the job and last week embarrassed the BBC by backing out of announcing the UK’s jury scores at Eurovision because of Israel’s participation.

What a plonker. Let’s hope Gatwa is kicked onto the scrap heap for good filed under “Too up himself, too much bother!”

Only ‘Flip-Flop’ Starmer could cock up his own U-turn on the pensioners’ Winter Fuel Allowance. He announced this week he was going to do it (shafting Rachel Reeves in the process) by changing the threshold so more people can claim. Then, when he was pinned down on how many pensioners it would benefit, didn’t have a clue. He didn’t even know whether it could be done in time for this winter.

There’s a lot to be said for being put into a deep coma until the next election.
