Olly Murs cancels show after 20 minutes sparking health fears | Celebrity News | Showbiz & TV

Olly Murs' concert came to an unexpected halt after he shockingly pulled out of his second sold-out show in Glasgow. The Troublemaker star, who is currently on a UK arena tour, suddenly ended the show with an apology to fans.

Just 20 minutes into the set, the 40-year-old returned to the stage and announced to concertgoers: "My voice has gone," moments before calling off the rest of the performance. After battling through a handful of tracks, he said: "This has never happened to me before, but you can hear my voice is going. I want to give you the concert you deserve, so I can't go on." Olly added: "I'm going to come back, but I need to go now."

The singer assured the crowd: "We'll sort out refunds for anyone that isn't happy, but Glasgow, I will see you soon. I'm so, so sorry but that's the best I can do. I'll see you soon, I love you all."

According to videos posted by fans, there was a stunned silence, and when the lights went up, the crowd then realised Olly was being serious.

Concertgoers reportedly paid upwards of £57.55 for tickets and were left bewildered as the venue abruptly switched on the lights and staff directed everyone out the door.

One attendee told the Scottish Sun: "We were just getting into it after catching Blue as the support act. He sang five songs, then suddenly stopped."

The fan added: "He said he'd figure something out, but before we knew it, we were being told to leave. There was still at least an hour left – now we don’t know what to do with ourselves!"

Other disappointed fans took to social media to share their frustration as one shared a clip of Olly's announcement and wrote: " Booooo from Olly murs. At least Blue were amazing."

While his cancellation sparked health concerns and other defended his choice: "If he’s losing his voice that’s out of his control. He made the right decision to come off stage, for the sake of his health."
