Leominster train crash LIVE: Horror as train with 66 passengers smashes into tractor | UK | News![]() British Transport Police were called to a level crossing at Nordan Farm, north of Leominster, Herefordshire, at around 10.45am today following reports that a train had struck a tractor and trailer. Officers from West Mercia Police, as well as paramedics and fire service attended the scene. Six people were assessed by paramedics with injuries that are not thought to be serious, West Mercia said. A spokesperson for Transport for Wales (TfW) confirmed its 8.30am service between Manchester Piccadilly and Cardiff Central hit an obstruction at a crossing between Ludlow and Leominster. Lines between Hereford and Craven Arms stations are blocked and no trains will run.
