They decided to cook their eggs in mayonnaise, which is made from oil and eggs. The sauce helps to stabilize the egg mixture and make them fluffy.

The extra fat in mayonnaise can also make scrambled eggs silkier and more rich. However, it is recommended not to add too much to the mixture.

They said: "YES. It's my secret ingredient! You really don't need much. I use a short squirt for two eggs."

A second added: "Adding mayonnaise on everything is a great idea if you like it of course." A third wrote: "My aunty put Mayo in scrambled eggs. She whisked it in before cooking."

According to a recipe on Best Foods, cooks should beat mayonnaise over a medium heat for around two minutes before adding the egg mixture. They should then stir it frequently before the eggs are thoroughly cooked.
