A British animated movie has been granted a place in Rotten Tomatoes 100 club and in great news for TV fans, is available to stream on BBC iPlayer.

Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl follows Gromit as he leaps into action to save his keeper when Wallace's high-tech invention goes awry and he ends up being framed for a sequence of suspicious crimes.

The film's synopsis reads: "Gromit's concern that Wallace has become over-dependent on his inventions proves justified, when Wallace invents a smart gnome that seems to develop a mind of its own."

Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl was released at Christmas time last year and many sat down to enjoy it on the big day itself.

The British comedy film was produced by Aardman Animations and the BBC in association with Netflix and directed by Nick Park and Merlin Crossingham.

Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl was nominated for many awards and picked up the BAFTA for Best animated Film.

The voiceovers of the characters include Ben Whitehead as Wallace, this was his first full film as Wallace after Peter Sallis' retirement in 2010 and death in 2017.

Peter Kay stars as Chief Inspector Albert Mackintosh and Reece Shearsmith plays Norbot, an invesntion Wallacecreates tohelp him with chores around the house.

The film has received a 100% critics rating on Rotten Tomatoes, with the critics consensus reading: "Comforting as cheese and crackers, with some gentle ribbing of modern technology sprinkled on top, Vengeance Most Fowl revives this lovable pair with all their charm intact."

One reviewer said: "The most sheerly entertaining movie I've seen this year."

A fan on Reddit described the film as "brilliant" adding, "Aardman have done it again. The animation is just unbelievable, the things they pull off with stop motion. The humour was always bang on."

In the Guardian, Stuart Heritage called it "a triumphant return".
