Argos shoppers rush to get ultimate Galaxy Watch upgrade before it's too late

The Easter weekend is almost over but there is still some time to grab a holiday bargain. Argos has been running its Big Red sale event for most of April with savings across a range of products including TVs, tablets and wireless earbuds. You can even grab a Galaxy smartphone for under £95! There's plenty of gadgets reduced in price but one deal that's definitley worth checking out offers a massive reduction on the Galaxy Watch Ultra.

This premium smartwatch usually costs a hefty £599, but that price can be slashed to just £419.30. To get the money off, you simply need to use the RED30 code at the checkout. Once applied, the cost will drop by 30 percent. It's a very good deal that won't currently be matched by Samsung, with the Korean firm currently selling the Watch Ultra at full price. The Argos deal is clearly proving popular with it "in demand" and "selling fast". The only thing to note is that the Argos sale ends tomorrow, so there's not long left to cash in.

So, should you invest in the Watch Ultra, and what features does it include?

The Galaxy Watch Ultra is the most premium device in Samsung's range of wearables and is perfect for those wanting a device that will survive some serious punishment.

The Ultra features a rugged design with a bulky case that's made from titanium. Samsung boasts that its Ultra is the "toughest Galaxy Watch ever" so it should stay looking box fresh no matter how much punishment it takes.

Along with its tough appearance, the Watch Ultra also gets better water resistance and can cope with being taken to higher altitudes. It also won't stop working when exposed to high or very low temperatures.

You'll also find a Quick Button on the side of the case. This is just like Apple's "Action Button" which is found on the Watch Ultra and takes you to your favourite apps and other features with just a simple tap. That means you can launch a workout or start a run without any fuss.

Other things on the Galaxy Watch Ultra include an in-built SOS alarm for getting help, a special night mode which turns the display black and red, plus there is highly accurate GPS for pinpoint location accuracy.

If you are worried about charging, this premium Galaxy Watch also gets some impressive battery stats with it capable of lasting for up to 100 hours before needing a refill.

If £419 sounds a bit pricey then Argos also has 30 percent off the Galaxy Watch 7 which brings the price down to under £225. Although this wearable isn't quite as feature-packed as the Ultra, it still offers ways to track your daily exercise, see notifications, monitor heart rate, and more.
