Taylor Swift ‘in talks’ to join massive Hollywood film franchise | Films | Entertainment

Taylor Swift may have dominated the world of music, but her Hollywood career has yet to make a proper dent after the disaster that was Cats.

Rumours were abounding that she would cameo as Dazzler in Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool and Wolverine.

This never came to pass, but now it looks like she could be about to head to Marvel Studios after all.

According to scooper MyTimeToShineHello: “Taylor Swift is in talks to join the MCU.”

This would back Daniel RPK’s reports that she’s meeting with studios about a superhero role.

In what capacity exactly? That remains to be seen. But it could be that rumoured Dazzler role. The X-Men are set to be rebooted in the MCU, and this mutant, which has the power to convert sound into light and energy beams, could be an excellent fit for Swift. Deadpool and Wolverine are expected to feature in Avengers Doomsday and Avengers Secret Wars, so what if a cameo is in the works?
