8 beautiful UK gardens that have been the backdrop for films and TV shows | UK | Travel

If you are looking for some day trips to embark on in the spring and summer, these eight locations that have been heavily featured in TV shows and films, might be a good option. Sam Stevens on behalf of Pergolux UK, a garden pergola retailer said: "The UK is home to stunning architecture and gardens." Revealing eight locations across the UK that have been the "backdrop in popular TV series and films", Sam said, "The good news is you can visit a lot of these locations."

Sam teased: "Game of Thrones, Bridgerton, Batman and Cinderella are just a few that are set in or feature scenes in stunning UK gardens. Not only is this a great chance to see some stunning landscapes and greenery, but it’s also a great opportunity to fully immerse yourself in the world of TV and film."

Cliveden House, Buckinghamshire

Cliveden House in Buckinghamshire is famous for its appearances in Cinderella (2015), Thunderbirds (2004), and Sherlock Holmes (2009), said Sam.

He elaborated: "The estate's breathtaking gardens and woodlands played a key role in the visuals for the Fountain of Love in Cinderella, located at one end of the estate’s drive.

"And Cliveden’s gilded clock tower is featured as the clock that strikes midnight where Cinderella flees from the ball."
