Save almost £10 on Assassin's Creed Shadows with amazing PlayStation discount deal | Gaming | Entertainment

Assassin's Creed fans on PS5 can make a big saving on the latest game in the series.

With the Assassin's Creed Shadows release date just hours away, CD Keys has reduced the price of PlayStation Store cards on its website.

As you can see from the link below, CD Keys is currently selling £70 PlayStation Store cards for the heavily reduced price of just £60.99.

With Assassin's Creed Shadows priced at £69.99 on the PlayStation Store, you can use the credit to buy the game for just £60.99. That's a saving of almost £10.

After purchasing a top-up card from CD Keys, the retailer will send you a link with the code that can redeemed on the PlayStation Store.

Once you've added the credit to your PlayStation account, you can pick up Assassin's Creed Shadows, or use the credit to buy a different game.

Buying the game early certainly has its benefits, with pre-order customers receiving the Thrown to the Dogs quest and Claws of Awaji expansion. You can also pre-load the game ahead of launch, which is worth doing considering the 100GB plus file size.

There's also an £84.99 Deluxe Edition with additional bonuses if you're willing to spend the extra cash. CD Keys is also selling a £90 PlayStation Store card for £83.99, which is cheaper than the Deluxe Edition and leaves customers with spare PlayStation Store credit to put towards a separate purchase.

In addition to the aforementioned pre-order bonuses, the Deluxe Edition comes with the Sekiryu Dual Pack, Sekiryu Hideout Pack and five mastery points.

Assassin's Creed Shadows takes place in feudal Japan and features a dual-protagonist system.

You can play as the powerful Saumrai named Yasuke, as well as a speedier shinobi assassin named Naoe.

Ubisoft explains more: "Become a lethal shinobi Assassin and powerful, legendary samurai as you explore a beautiful open world in a time of chaos.

"Switch between these two unlikely allies as you discover their common destiny. Master complementary playstyles, create your shinobi league, customise your hideout, and usher in a new era for Japan."
