Stove will look good as new with easy deep cleaning trick – no vinegar

A woman has been praised for sharing her easy method to deep clean her stove top to make it look as good as new.

Mila, who is known on social media as @mama_mila_, uses her platform to share her favourite styling, organising and cleaning tips.

In one of her videos, the mum-of-two walks her 1.5million followers through one of her cleaning routines - saying it makes a huge difference to your kitchen.

She said: "It's that time of the month again - it's time to deep clean our stovetops. Start by removing the grates and soak them in hot water with dish soap to soften any of that built up grease.

"Then take off the burners and soak them in baking soda, lemon, and boiling water. Leave these to soak for about an hour. In the meantime, make a paste of baking soda and dish soap and apply that on your stove.

"You guys know I love this mix, it's so good at removing tough grease."

She says this magic mix can also be used on your burners to remove "all that burnt on mess". Following this, all you need to do is wash everything down with warm water before returning it all to its original place to make your stovetop look new again.

Commenting on her video, one impressed user said: " Good cleaning tips, thank you."

Another user added: "If you want your burners to come up spotless use soapy steel wool, that will remove all the cooked on marks."

A third user said: "I love that you are showing that even after deep clean this stove top doesn't look perfect probably because you're using it and it's still ok."

One more user added: "Great tips. Will try."

It comes after another she shared her four-ingredient trick for cleaning stubborn stains on her carpets.

To start, she says you need to vacuum the area you want to target before applying a homemade cleaning solution to the carpet stains.

To make this, she mixes one cup of warm water, 1/4 cup of white vinegar to deodorise and clean the stain, two tablespoons of salt to draw the stains up from the fibers, and four drops of your favourite essential oil to leave the area smelling fresh and clean.

Following this, she simply sprays the solution onto the problem area and blots the stain away using a clean microfiber cloth. She says: "This powerful mix lifts carpet stains and leaves your home smelling fresh."
