Luke Littler outburst caught on camera after Premier League Darts defeat to Gerwyn Price | Other | Sport

Luke Littler stormed off stage during his night three defeat at the Premier League against Gerwyn Price in Dublin.

The Nuke suffered a disappointing defeat against the Welshman, who at one point had led the contest 4-1.

It comes following victory on night two of the Premier League in Glasgow last week - an evening that saw the 18-year-old come from 5-1 in his quarter-final against Rob Cross.

There were no such heroics in the Irish capital though, with Price eventually progressing as a 6-4 victor.

Littler was visibly frustrated at points throughout the match, but it was after Price had hit the winning double when the teenage ace saw red.

While walking off the stage in Dublin, the Sky Sports television cameras appeared to show Littler throwing his darts case down the stage.

It's a rare outburst from the world champion, who has been renowned for his cool, calm and collected persona while on stage.

Of course, after the success he's experienced during his short time as a professional, Littler is more than warranted to show his emotions every once in a while.

The defeat to Price may spark an unwanted cause for concern, given Littler has now lost his previous five encounters against Price across all competitions.

The Iceman has come up against Littler three times already in 2025, beating him at both the Bahrain Masters and a Players Championship event, as well as Thursday's meeting in Dublin.

It comes amid a stunning return to form for Price after a difficult 2024, with the former world champion having already won a floor title this year.

Speaking to Sky Sports en route to the final in Dublin on Thursday, he said: "I want to be a tough nut to crack for everyone! That's what I used to be two or three years ago, I slipped off the radar a bit but I'm coming back.

"If I keep playing well, I know I can win a Premier League night win. My mind is in a good place and with support like this, it's brilliant."

After despatching Littler in the quarter-final, Price inflicted a similarly bruising defeat on Luke Humphries, beating the current world No.1 6-4.

Price missed just one dart at the outer ring during the dominative victory, with the Cardiff-born star looking as if he's once again found his best form.
