Meghan Markle recently shared a message addressing her with an HRH title and the move did not go down well with the royals, according to an insider. The Duchess of Sussex, who was a working royal for two years, quit her royal duties in 2020 along with her husband, Prince Harry, and they both moved to the US, where they have settled with their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

Following their bombshell departure, the Sussexes agreed to no longer use their HRH titles, while their Sussex titles have always been a subject of debate among royal watchers. On January 18, following Harry and Meghan's decision to step down as senior working royals, Buckingham Palace released a statement, which said: "With The [late] Queen’s blessing, the Sussexes will continue to maintain their private patronages and associations. While they can no longer formally represent The Queen, the Sussexes have made clear that everything they do will continue to uphold the values of Her Majesty."

The statement stressed: "The Sussexes will not use their HRH titles as they are no longer working members of the Royal Family."

But Meghan's recent move sparked backlash after a Ukrainian minister addressed her as "Your Royal Highness".

Now, according to the Mail, a friend of King Charles has revealed what the royals think about the duchess's "outrageous" move.

They told "well-connected" journalist Tom Sykes: "It’s outrageous. Every time you think they can’t make it worse, they make it worse."

A source recently revealed that the Sussexes have created a "happy bubble" with their children and celebrated the launch of Meghan's new ventures with a spring break family getaway.

Harry and Meghan enjoyed a sun-filled trip with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, People magazine reported.

A source told the US publication that Archie, five, and Lili, three, are the centre of the couple's world in Montecito, California, describing their home life as "their happy bubble".

"The kids are adorable. They're incredibly smart, articulate and fun," the source added.

Meanwhile, Harry expressed his pride in Meghan for her new lifestyle brand As Ever, and Netflix series, telling People: "I am so happy for my wife and fully support absolutely everything she's done and continues to do."

He added: "I'm incredibly proud."
