A major fire has erupted at a shipyard in a lakeside city in northwest Russia. The fire started at the Onega Shipyard in Petrozavodsk.

Terrifying images from the scene show a large plume of thick black smoke emerging from the shipyard. And a clip filmed inside and shared by Russian news outlet SHOT on the social media platform Telegram shows a fire raging inside the building. The news outlet reports of someone screaming "Get out! Everyone out!"

SHOT reports the fire was linked to a gas cylinder exploding.
