The 2025 Eurovision Song Contest is soon set to begin, with 37 countries competing to be crowned the winner of the international music competition.

This year's event is due to take place in Basel, Switzerland, following last year's contest in Liverpool, UK.

Coverage of Eurovision 2025 will be broadcast live in the UK across BBC One, iPlayer, BBC Radio 2 and BBC Sounds.

Scott Mills and Rylan will commentate live from the arena in Basel during the semi-finals, while Graham Norton will be back at the helm of the coverage of the Eurovision Grand Final.

Over on Radio 2, Scott and Rylan will be joined by Sara Cox and Richie Anderson, with the foursome spending the entire week in Basel and covering Eurovision in its entirety.

Here's all you need to know about Eurovision 2025, including the favourite to win...

Eurovison 2025 will begin on Tuesday, 13th May with the first semi-final taking place, followed by the second semi-final on Thursday, 15th May.

Fans will be able to review all 37 countries competing in this year's contest, with the top ten countries from each semi-final heading into the Grand Final.

As one of the Big Five countries - Spain, Germany, France, Italy, United Kingdom - the UK has a guaranteed spot in the Grand Final.

The Eurovision 2025 Grand Final will take place on Saturday, 17th May.

The UK's Eurovision 2025 entry is Remember Monday, who will be performing their song What the Hell Just Happened?

Remember Monday is a country pop girl group, made up of Charlotte, Holly and Lauren.

The trio appeared on The Voice UK in 2019, where they auditioned with Kiss from a Rose by Seal. They made it to the Knockout stages before being eliminated from the competition.

It was announced in February on BBC Radio 1 that Remember Monday would be representing the UK at Eurovision. The band's track What the Hell Just Happened? charted at No. 95 in the UK singles chart the following week.

The current favourite to win Eurovision 2025 is Sweden.

The country is being represented by band KAJ, with their song Bara Bada Bastu. Should Sweden take the crown, it will mark the country's eighth Eurovision win.

Austria, France and Israel follow closely behind Sweden in odds shared by Bet365 in April. This is followed by Netherlands, Belgium, Czechia, Finland, Estonia and Cyprus.

The UK's odds have steadily risen over recent weeks. The UK is currently predicted to come in 13th place overall in the competition.

The Eurovision 2025 semi-finals will be held on 13th and 15th May. The Grand Final takes place on Saturday, 17th May and will be broadcast live on BBC One, BBC iPlayer, BBC Radio 2 and BBC Sounds.
