The Princess of Wales is celebrating a major milestone today as she joins Prince William for a visit to Scotland. The couple, who are celebrating their 14th wedding anniversary today, arrived in Mull earlier today for a two-day visit.

Whilst the princess has completed two consecutive engagements across two days since revealing her cancer diagnosis, Kate is marking a major milestone by staying overnight in Scotland this evening. The couple will be heading back to their children in Windsor tomorrow.

Kate and William have since built a strong connection to Scotland, with sources since sharing that "it's impossible to exaggerate their love [for the country]."

Tomorrow, which is their final day in Scotland, Kate and William will visit an ancient woodland and join a local school group for an outdoor lesson.

The royal couple will mark the end of their trip by taking a public ferry to Iona. Iona has a population of around 170 people but receives around 130,000 visitors a year.
