It's time to get ready for summer with a pair of flip flops that offer style and comfort. Podiatrist-approved shoe brand Reef has customers raving about its Cushion Cloud sandals that are made with soft compression footbeds for long-hour walks.

With colour options like White/Tan, Natural, Black, Cork and trendy Espresso available, the Cushion Cloud flip flop has won over shoppers for feeling light and comfortable all day long. Priced at £60, they come in a wide selection of shoe sizes, ranging from UK3 to UK9.

The design reminds some fashion lovers of the very expensive Row sandals that celebrities and influencers are paying for more than £800 for a pair but the Reef Cushion Cloud straps are made with 5mm of foam padding and lined with padded jersey for extra comfort that the material won't rub against the toes. 

They also feature super soft compression molded EVA with anatonmical arch for pain relief and comfort and one shopper called them 'the best sandals ever worn in life', sharing: "The level of comfort is unmatched to any other sandals. I have a pair in black also. True to size but may seem small at first. I suggest wearing them around the house first. They will mold and fit your feet perfectly. It only took a few days.

"The cushion on the heels is next level - I feel no pain, no pressure, no discomfort when wearing for long periods of time. There really is no comparison." But she said she wouldn't recommend the sandals for someone with flat feet, explaining: "I bought a pair for my sister as a gift and she doesn't really wear them because she is flat footed and says they don't fit right."

Amazon shoppers swear by these LLSOARSS Plantar Fasciitis Feet Sandal with Arch Support, £31.49, with one customer saying: "I have flat feet with bad inner pronation due to a prior ankle break and plantar fasciitis on the other Foot. Flip flops are not something I can wear. let alone, all day…until now. Walked all day in these and honestly had no pain that night."

Other than soft compression footbeds, the Reef pair also features a non-marking moulded rubber outsole with tropical inspired designs, offering a 'cloud-like' comfort to shoppers.

One shopper said: "I have recently been diagnosed with neuropathy thought I might have to give up these sandals. But I can wear these all day with no pain. There a gift to feet."

Another mentioned that the flip flops don't come in half sizes and recommended shoppers to size up. Meanwhile, a third added: "Very comfortable and supportive. I needed a shoe to help with knee pain. These have done the trick." 

Elsewhere, British footwear brand Clarks has expanded its CloudStepper range to include the Brinkley Reyna, £35, which is great for summer holidays and lazy weekends. The shoes are crafted with soft lavender fabric uppers for a gentle feel, while grippy soles add reliable support.
