Lorraine Kelly has been inundated with well-wishes from her fans after issuing another update following her surgery. The much-loved TV host, 65, was taken to hospital for a preventative operation earlier this month.
On Saturday, May 3, Lorraine shared a selfie from her hospital bed, letting her many followers know what was happening. At the time she explained on Instagram: "I've not been feeling all that well for a little while, so I had some scans and tests, and I have to have my ovaries and my tubes taken out."
The daytime TV legend is on the mend and has been taking a hiatus from her ITV morning show as she continues her recovery. On Monday afternoon, Lorraine delighted her fans with an endearing snapshot of herself cuddling her granddaughter Billie.
She said: "Thanks so much for all your get well wishes. Billie providing the medicine ever with lots of cuddles for her granny. Hopefully back to work on Monday. I've missed you".
Many fans have been quick to send supportive messages in the comments section, as one wrote: "I love this picture ... babies are the best medicine ever ... take care". A second said: "That's the best medicine get well soon", while a third added: "Glad to hear you are feeling better, Lorraine xx".
