Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were mocked by Saturday Night Live host Colin Jost as he made a brutal joke about the former royal couple during the latest episode. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who were seen looking very loved-up as they enjoyed watching Beyonce's Cowboy Carter gig in Los Angeles together this weekend, were brought up by Jost as he gave a breakdown of all the latest big news stories.
Speaking to the camera, he addressed the recent UK-US trade deal between Sir Keir Starmer and US President Donald Trump during the Weekend Update segment of the sketch show. He said: "President Trump also announced a new trade deal with the U.K. that will reopen British markets for American companies. All that Britain demands in return is that we keep these two,” as a photo of Harry and Meghan was shown on the screen behind him.
The joke comes after Trump announced a "historic" agreement with the UK, which Starmer joined over phone to the White House.
Elsewhere on the show, Walton Goggins reacted to some of the outrageous headlines about his new sex symbol status, with many addressing his "sexy receding hairline".
He recently appeared on The White Lotus, and referred to his character Rick Hatchett he's "is pretty brooding, which the internet seemed to find attractive."
Goggins also said friends had asked him what it was like becoming a sex symbol at 53, he joked: "Fantastic...until I Googled myself and read some of the headlines," before reading out a headline from Cosmopolitan which read: "Are We All Horny for Walton Goggins’s Receding Hairline?"
He then said: "I've had the same hairline since I was seven. It's not receding. It's holding its ground!"
A headline from Slate said: "His Hair Is Greasy. His Eyes Are Bulging. I Think I’m in Love, which he called "Beautiful journalism.”
Yahoo News wrote: "Hollywood’s Newest Heartthrob Is a Greasy, Depressing Little Man Whom No One Saw Coming."
Goggins joked: "For some reason, the part of that headline that offends me the most is the word ‘whom’. It just sounds pretentious."
