The much-awaited series Murderbot is all set to make its debut on Apple TV+ on Friday, 16 May.
This gripping show is based on the popular novel series The Murderbot Diaries penned by American author Martha Wells.
Murderbot comprises a total of 10 thrilling episodes, with the first two being released together to pique viewers' interest, reports Mirror US.
The remaining episodes will be unveiled weekly on Fridays, culminating in the grand finale on July 11.
So, fans will need to exercise patience and follow the streaming platform's usual pattern of releasing its shows. Apple TV+ offers an array of content, including hits like Severance, Slow Horses, The Morning Show, Silo and Ted Lasso.
The sci-fi thriller-comedy revolves around the part-biological cyborg Murderbot (portrayed by Alexander Skarsgård), who possesses sentience but must conceal its independent thought.

The series was crafted by the Oscar-nominated brother writing duo Chris and Paul Weitz.
Alexander Skarsgård, known for his roles in True Blood and Big Little Lies, steps into the shoes of the eponymous Murderbot and also serves as an executive producer on the show.
Joining the cast is David Dastmalchian, known for his roles in Oppenheimer and The Suicide Squad, who will be playing Gurathin, a scientist under the protection of Murderbot.
British-South African actress Noma Dumezweni, famed for her performances in The Little Mermaid, The Undoing, Presumed Innocent, Made for Love, and The Watcher, will take on the role of team leader Mensah.
Sabrina Wu, known for her roles in Dying for Sex and Joy Ride, will appear as Pin-Lee, a scientist and legal counsel.
Canadian actress Tattiawna Jones, who has starred in Orphan Black: Echoes, Lost in Space, The 100 and Murdoch Mysteries, will play another scientist named Arada.
Akshay Khanna, known for his parts in The Doll Factory, Critical Incident, Andor and Red, White and Royal Blue, will portray another scientist, Ratthi.
Completing the main cast is Tamara Podemski, who will play scientist Bharadwaj. She is known for her roles in Saint-Pierre, Outer Range, Reservation Dogs and Coroner.
The series also features actors from Murderbot's favourite soap, The Rise and Fall of Sanctuary Moon, including Clark Gregg, John Cho, DeWanda Wise, and Jack McBrayer.
