Princess Kate has modelled one of her daughter’s favourite hairstyles tonight as she stepped out at the VE Day 80th anniversary concert. The Princess of Wales, 43, along with her husband Prince William, 42, took to their seats at Horse Guards Parade for the live concert, along with King Charles and Queen Camilla. In an adorable tribute to her daughter Princess Charlotte, 10, Kate wore a black bow in her hair to the concert.
This is believed to be a sweet nod to Charlotte, who is often spotted wearing small bows in her hair at royal events, including at Princess Kate's Christmas carol concert last year. Prince William and Princess Kate have not been accompanied by their three children to the concert tonight.
Beaming as she took to her seat, Kate looked stunning in a white Self-Portrait dress. The princess accessoried the outfit with a necklace with 5 strands of pearls, along with earrings adorned with five pearls each.
Prince William also appeared to be in good spirits at the event as he took to his seat between his wife and Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer.
The event, hosted by Zoe Ball, will see the likes of a number of performers take to the stage, including Fleur East, John Newman, Victor Ray, Freya Ridings, Tom Walker and classical singer Sir Willard White.
Sheku Kanneh-Mason, the cellist who performed at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s 2018 wedding, will also perform.
