A horror crash has sparked huge delays throughout Greater Manchester on Thursday morning.
Drivers are facing travel chaos after two lanes were shut on the M62 eastbound between junctions 18 and 19 following an earlier crash. It is not known whether there have been any serious injuries.
The most recent travel update on monitoring website Inrix says: "Long delays due to earlier accident on M62 Eastbound from J18 M66 J4 (Simister Island) to J19 A6046 Middleton Road (Heywood)."
