Two people have been found dead at a home in Devon. Emergency services rushed to the scene on Wednesday night after reports of an incident off Salterton Road, Exmouth.

Devon and Cornwall Police said the circumstances surrounding the deaths aren't known as yet, but detectives aren't looking for anyone else in connection.

The police said in a statement: "As no doubt many are now aware, an incident occurred in a home off Salterton Road last night. Tragically two persons are deceased.

"We are looking for no one else in relation to this incident. There will be a police presence in this area for likely the next two days.

"Please respect those that live at or near the location by not going there. Our thoughts are with the family of those involved."
